Is chiropractic care safe for babies and children?
Absolutely! Pediatric chiropractic adjustments are extremely gentle – about the pressure you’d use to check a ripe tomato. Our doctors have specialized training in pediatric care and have helped thousands of children in Austin.
What are INSiGHT neurological scans?
INSiGHT scans are non-invasive tests that measure how well your nervous system is functioning. They include Heart Rate Variability (HRV), thermal scans, and surface EMG – giving us objective data about your stress patterns and nerve function.
How long is the first appointment?
Plan for about 45-60 minutes for your first visit. This gives us time to thoroughly understand your health history, complete the neurological scans, and discuss your results with our doctors.
Do you accept insurance?
Because we’re neurologically-focused rather than just treating back pain, most insurance plans don’t cover what we do. But we work with families of all sizes and situations. We accept HSA and FSA funds, and we offer meaningful family discounts that make a real difference. We always find a way for families who are committed.
What conditions do you help with?
We don’t treat conditions—we help the nervous system function the way it’s supposed to. When we remove interference, symptoms often resolve on their own. Families see improvements in focus, sleep, behavior, immune function, digestion, and more—not because we treated those things directly, but because the body can finally heal itself.
What is the “Perfect Storm” you mention?
The Perfect Storm explains how nervous system dysfunction develops over time. It’s not one thing—it’s accumulated stress from prenatal complications, birth trauma, ear infections, antibiotics, and chronic stress that builds up faster than the body can process. Understanding your child’s Perfect Storm helps everything finally make sense.
Why don’t you adjust on the first visit?
We need to fully understand what’s happening before we act. Adjusting without complete information would be guessing—and your family deserves better than that. We gather all the data on Day 1, then present our findings and recommendations on Day 2. This isn’t a rushed process.
How often do families need to come in?
It depends on what we find. The nervous system didn’t get this way overnight, so it takes consistent care to make lasting changes. Some families start with more frequent visits that taper as function improves. We’ll explain exactly what we recommend and why during your Report of Findings.
