🧠 ADHD Support for Circle C Families

Gentle chiropractic care to help your child feel more comfortable alongside their other treatments

💙 “We understand the weight you’re carrying. The 2-hour homework battles, the calls from school, the worry that medication isn’t the only answer for your child.”

When you’re picking up groceries at the H-E-B on Escarpment Village or watching your child play at Circle C Metro Park, you’re constantly thinking about how to help them thrive.

The beautiful trails and family-friendly atmosphere of Circle C create the perfect environment for kids to flourish. But when your child struggles with attention, hyperactivity, or focus issues, even this supportive community can feel overwhelming.

At River City Wellness, Dr. Peter Martinez has spent 8 years providing gentle, supportive chiropractic care specifically for children with ADHD and their families. Our approach may help some children feel more physically comfortable as part of comprehensive ADHD management.

💙 “You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. We’re here to support your family alongside your child’s other healthcare providers.”

Parents in Circle C choose River City Wellness because Dr. Martinez takes time to listen to the whole story – not just the ADHD symptoms, but the daily struggles you’re facing as a family. With specialized training in pediatric chiropractic care and 8 years of experience working with children, she understands that every child is unique.

Our INSiGHT scanning technology allows us to assess areas of physical tension and stress in your child’s nervous system. This completely painless assessment takes just minutes and helps us understand where your child might benefit from gentle chiropractic care.

Some case reports published in chiropractic journals have described individual children experiencing improvements in comfort and well-being following care, though controlled research studies remain limited. We always work as part of your child’s broader healthcare team – never as a replacement for established ADHD treatments.

Our gentle adjustments use only light fingertip pressure – no forceful movements or scary procedures for young patients. Many children tell us they feel more relaxed after their visits.

💙 “Dr. Martinez creates a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel comfortable and parents feel truly heard. We know you’ve been searching for answers, and we’re here to provide honest information about what we can and cannot help with.”

Our Gentle Approach to Supporting Children with ADHD

Many children with ADHD also experience physical tension that may develop from various factors throughout their development. Birth experiences, childhood falls, daily stress, and the physical demands of managing ADHD can sometimes create areas of tension in the body.

When children experience physical discomfort or tension, it may affect their overall sense of well-being. While we cannot cure or treat ADHD itself, some children find that addressing physical tension helps them feel more comfortable in their bodies.

This is why we focus on providing supportive care that complements your child’s primary ADHD treatments. By helping children feel more physically comfortable, we aim to support their overall wellness as part of a comprehensive approach.

Dr. Martinez works closely with pediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care. We believe in informed parents making informed decisions about what’s right for their family.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Step 1: Complete Story & Consultation

Your first visit begins with Dr. Martinez listening to your family’s complete story. She wants to understand not just your child’s ADHD symptoms, but your daily challenges, what you’ve tried, and what you hope to achieve. Please bring any recent medical records and a list of current medications or therapies.

Step 2: Gentle INSiGHT Assessment

Next, we perform our gentle INSiGHT nervous system assessment. These scans are completely painless and take about 5 minutes. Most children find them interesting rather than concerning – it feels like a warm hand gently placed on their back.

Step 3: Honest Discussion & Next Steps

Dr. Martinez will then explain exactly what she found and discuss whether our supportive care might be helpful for your child. There’s never any pressure – just honest conversation about realistic expectations and how we might fit into your child’s overall care plan.

Our goal is for both you and your child to feel completely comfortable and confident moving forward, whatever you decide.
